Truck rolled down embankment

on Princes hwy just north of Orbost, 1 hour sitting around, bugga.

What to do? Ah! Come on line as good signal strength. Thank goodness for the forum.

At least it's beautiful weather here, has been since I got out of Traralgon, Gipplsland Vic.

Looks like Eden or Merimbula for the night now.

You are better waiting where you are than being the one in the truck waiting.

I worked in Bega 35 years ago and used to go to the drive-in at Pambula. I lived at Tathra for a while. Can't wait to see those beautiful areas again.

Woolman, it was one big mess, Double B down the side and load everyhwere. We were allowed through when it was safe to open one lane but they will be there for a few more hours after we all left, about 100 of us, pity we all had to drive, would have made for a great happy hour.

Garry, it's nice all through this area, I'm propped at Eden, had enough for one day. I will check everything out on way back down whenever that is? Not too far away though.

This time tomorrow I will be in Batemans Bay.

If you get a chance, go to Green cape. There is a lovely spot there Botangabee, in the Nat park, and a lovely little harbour , nearby. Fishing is great, also.A few klms of dirt roads, but worth the effort.Another spot in the area is Wombown lake . It has a nice little cvan park, and a geheral store. Also great fishing. The whole area is one of the nicest in OZ, inmy opinion. See you soon. Bill

Green Cape was closed when Dougwe went through - bush fires. Isn't that Womboyn Lake bill12? Typo. Lovely weather on the Far South Coast too.
