If I ever had my many farm chores done to listen to the Lone Ranger that is, which was never.

I was very surprised when we moved close to a city to find out that other children had the time to devote to leisure activities.  biggrin

Gday...

Yeah ... listenin' to the radio when I woz a kid ... usually with my eyes closed imagining I woz the main character in the serial.

Lone Ranger, Hop Harrigan and Phantom. AHHH !  them woz da dayz

And the top 10 hits (music) - I think were on Thursdays at 5.30pm til 6pm

What about Biggles ,and Here comes omally ,use to listen to both of them on the radio on Saturday nights with me mum by the open fire, that would spit sparks out onto the carpet, good old days.

By golly a bloke is getting old when you think back like this,and it only seems like yesterday,it's no wonder the grand kids call me PA, I think that I should have done more in my life ,but when your working helping your kids out buying a home a person didn't have time,enough remernissing.
