pieces of a caravan

We send our sympathy to the owners of a Royal Flair caravan which we noticed just south of Moonie, Qld on Wednesday. Was absolutely in pieces and wondered how this could occur.Do hope the drivers and car came out of this with no injuries.

Saw that one too, today.

The road surface of the Leichardt Highway through there has some very uneven sections. Not potholed, but severely undulating. Really bounces us up and down, even at our fairly slow speed. There was a particularly bad section where that ruined van was.

Not long after we passed that, we were passed by 4wd and Traveller caravan. He was really being bounced around and in places got up quite a sway.

Welcome to the forum wendycarlene. I presume the pieces left were big enough to still show the name of the caravan! Doesn't sound good. In the meantime, take care on the roads yourself and enjoy the forum.
