Jingemia Cave - Watheroo National Park WA

Visited this place a couple of days ago, about 200 kms n/n/e of Perth.

Not listed in Camps, but I noticed on a current tourist brochure it shows a tent to signify camping, couldn't see any no camping signs anywhere, one long drop toilet at the cave parking area.  This has a large turn around where you could park overnight, also coming in on the short access road to the cave I noticed a couple of large level bays cut into the bush on either side of the access track where you could park a caravan.

Short stretch of gravel to get into the cave area, one narrow vehicle track in and out can get a bit tight if meeting someone coming the other way as I did (someone with a camper trailer)   A couple of "puddles" on the vehicle track going in not overly deep though.  Photo's from the top only, cave area subject to rock falls, also cliff edge unstable.  See below;

Edit:  This was supposed to be in Magic Places you have been too, stuffed up posting it here instead, but won't double post it now.

Fantastic area,and thanks Vic for posting, just made me more home sick than ever looking through the pic's.

I don't recon any where else in Oz is the RED colour of the earth as deep as in that particular area.

I know once your vehicle has been off the black top no matter how you try you can never really get it all out.

But that's a good thing in my case,as it always reminds me of my days working/ living over there.

Yes a great place Herbie, was washing my vehicle today trying to get the red dirt off the tyres etc.

By the way, on one of the gravel roads around that area saw an Echidna crossing the road, last one I saw last year down Esperance way.
