Coffs Harbour to Armidale....is it all sealed???

We are thinking of travelling the Waterfall Way after Christmas. I use travel this road a bit but mainly coming from Guyra. I remember some kilometers of UNSEALED roads but thinking we will go through to Armidale instead. If we chose either way through to Armidale or Guyra...are they both sealed roads now? Our option would probably be, to travel from Coffs to Armidale. Just pulling a full sized van...I'm wondering if the roads will be ok. It's been years since I've driven on these. I know it's a nice area and can't wait to explore it more.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you :)

Sealed road all the way Coffs to Armidale - are you going to camp out at Dumeresq Dam whilst in Armidale - it's a great spot, just 9k out of town.

Thanks Jules. I will look into it. I am only now starting to map out where we are going but in no hurry for no one..LOL
I will look up the dam and check it out. Certainly worth a look.
It must be easy 17 years or more since we've gone that way. We use to go that way a lot when my sister lived in Coffs but we drove through Guyra. I'm sure there was like 14kms of dirt road and I reckon we got a puncture every time. I don't want to travel that way "IF" it's still gravel road. Like I said I'm sure it was traveling from Guyra. I think we will head towards Armidale and even check out the dam like you said.

Plenty of room at the dam - and there are some fish in the dam - good place if you have a canoe or rowboat.  There are toilets and non potable water.

Ebor to Guyra is all sealed now, but not as wide as the Waterfall Way from Ebor to Armidale.

The roads into the campgrounds at Cathedral Rock and Thungutti (before Point Lookout) are unsealed.
