Hi folks this is to let all the grey nomads who have camped at Green Hill Lake Ararat and intend to stay there that there $5 that they pay to the committee is not going to waste, it is in the local paper that they will be spending some of it on a playground for the children who's families camp there over the school holiday period .

 September 6, 2013 ARARAT - Green Hill Lake will have an extra attraction for users this summer with a brand new playground to be installed in the coming weeks

I understand some of you will think well what good is that to the Grey Nomads but at least they are putting it back slowly into the lake region and as they get more money then more improvements will be done to make this a great place for an overnight camp, as those who have camped there will already know its value for money.

Sounds cool to me. Camp grounds are for everybody, not just GNs.

Good idea for all to enjoy...and for only $5 now that's a great offer to camp there.In most caravan parks if kids play equipment is updated the normal practise is to up the price, but here we are still paying the same .

Stayed there a couple of years ago and would return.

Green Lake $5.00 is a treasure, lovely area, always been clean and tidy when I have been there, and last few times I have stayed HOT showers! Oh and ovely walks too!
