I am a member of a fishing forum that is also join should you like to or just log on as a guest and have alook, lots of info on whats being caught where and how, salt and fresh. (licence needed for inland waters)
Was talking to a mate on the phn tonight who runs a Cray boat out OF Geraldton WA,he was telling me at the moment he is getting record prices for Rock Lobsters, around $90 per kilogram. In 2010-2011 season he was getting $61per kilogram.
He said it all comes down to supply and demand and at the moment there is very little supply.
And what is being caught is going to the international demand.
A lot of the blokes are not even fishing their boats are not even in the water due to all the new regs and laws.
There is also a similar app for Victoria vicfishing
I also have an app for tying knots that many may find interesting. Knotsguide
Both free
Also don't forget to get the state fire apps for every state you intend to visit as there is a lot of undergrowth around again this year and we could have some nasty fires again this year.
Regards
Brian
