My Wifes Way Of Hitching !!!

To avoid any damage to our vehicle if the wife has to hitch up she uses a cheap plastic chopping board she got from a cheap shop and got me to cut it into a T shape.

She then slides it into the gap between the tow ball and bracket.

Making sure the jockey wheel is wound up higher than the level of the tow ball then she starts to reverse the vehicle and when hitch taps the board she knows she has gone back enough.

She devised this method in case of a emergency .

Ibbo, they sell these self reliant woman via e-bay...No no no  just joking there.

She is very self reliant has drove the 4x4Be towing van from Perth to Darwin to meet up with me re work.

She not once stayed at a caravan park just pulled into over night stops ...she told me it was because in some of the parks the space to camp were created for smaller vans than what most of us own today.

Some times I do think she would be happy to have a HIS and Her set up...

She also drives across to Perth  from Qld on her own to see daughter and camps in the back of the 4x4be all the way, uses truck stops and other places to get a hot shower from. She has the best list of public hot showers in Aus I would recon.

Her and another of her friends are just about to launch a web page regarding all the hot showers in Aus .(low cost and free )

I cannot up load photos ,as I am using my ipad as I am still away from home base.

It is just a cheap plastic chopping board,,,,then draw the whole board with a T shape ,then cut out the shape and you will have the letter T .left.

Just reading this great tip. Sounds like a super cheap version of the couplematevdevice. See link to get the idea of where it fits & would look like ( I imagine it's very similar)

Gday...

Hey Herbie ... I am still intrigued in this idea of your good lady - any chance of a photo or two so we know what it looks like?

cheers - John

I'll wait to see her list, and then maybe I'll pinch some and perhaps add a few of my own.

Girl power!  Just love it!

We can be handy sometimes for other than the obvious.

Sometimes I feel like a donut.  Something round and sweet with a hole in the middle.  What else should I think when a bloke shows any interest?

By the way, when you feel like eating a donut, think of the waist and just buy the hole.
