Booked our Tassie Trip

Just finished booking our third trip to Tassie, leave the 29th Jan and return 29th Feb.

Doing the fly drive this time, booked motor home pick up 5 mins from Hobart Air Port.

All up with flights from Gladstone QLD to Hobart and return flights and  Motor home costs the price has come well under half the cost of taking our own van.

As on the Ferry at that time of year they class it as high season. So of course the prices get jacked up.

Forgot to mention if anyone is thinking of heading over to Tassie around the last week in Jan maybe book now as there is a big speed way meeting on in La Trobe and all the cars from the main land will be using the ferry at that time to get over and the week following to get back to the mainland.

Herbie, we are looking at heading that way on the 26th Jan for 7 weeks we might see you over there. Just trying to sort out were to stay prior to getting on the boat as our new van and car will be approx 14mtrs long. We are looking at getting the 9am ship.

That time of year is always exxy - and when the speedways are running, it's even worse! That being said, Tassie is beautiful - although I am itching to get out of here, and see the rest of the country.
