I'm camped here at Bigriggen Campground for a few days. It's only a couple of hours from home, so an easy drive this morning.
There's a huge area so no problem with neighbours. :) except some friends are arriving tomorrow, so I hope they don't get unruly. Just kidding, they're good mates.
It's $9 a night per person, toilets, coin operated showers, kiosk and the Logan River runs alongside. Good swimming hole too, although this little duck ain't swimmin'.
Lots of wildlife, so I'm told. So no dogs allowed. So far I've been visited by a kookaburra, two wood ducks and a wallaby.

Sounds like a great place Beth. Hope the weather will be kind to you all. Since I got back to Sth West Gippsland Vic it's been gail force winds and rain, some rain, very heavy, every day, bugger. Still, not complaining as I had good weather 99% of the time while away.
Enjoy and,

Thanks Doug. -1 Thursday night, but I was snug & warm. I pulled the poptop down.
Lovely sunny & warm days though.
Biggriggin is a great spot, so I'll be adding it to the recommended list. Plenty of room, although I suspect the usual Easter & Christmas would be packed.
The photos, obviously moi with my first refreshment for the weekend. Then I had a visit from one of the many kookaburras.
Below, before and after my group arrived.
Mount Barney. They'd been doing burn offs so the mountains were all hazy.
This turtle decided he wanted the bait in the cray pot. No idea how he managed to squeeze in there. He was released after a spot of show and tell.
A trip down memory lane for me remembering all the things to be done before setting off, as well as the other things I left behind that day was my camera and the only photo was taken from my old phone.
Great photos Beth and thanks, I remember Biggriggen and my first overnighter well.
