Arrived at Surat and about 20 vans here at present.

There are about 2000 cattle coming thru by Friday and will be stopped near the camp till they can close the road and get them over the bridge

about 18000  being droved to Hay

Any nomads here give me a yell

I'm camped across from the big Emu just south of Lightening Ridge. Will stay here until you and Lyn get.
Now I'm in warm weather happy to stay put for a while.

I'm not sure  whether or not you're into photography Ken, but I reckon there will be some marvellous photo-ops within the next couple of days. Sorry I can't be there to share the opportunity. Perhaps you can upload a couple of shots in due course?

Would love to post some photos but left the camera at home in the other car and the mobile camera has carked it, so not one photo this trip
