Well we are off tomorrow to give the van it's first try out we are only going for a week and just down to Pt Elliot as we need to try out the electrics and make sure is all well with them so we are hoping for a few good days at least although the way the weather is we don't fancy our chances much after we have been to Pt Elliot it will be home for a month then off to Deep Creek National Park for a week to try out the sola side of things then home for a few weeks and then going to the Yorke Peninsula for a month. It has been so long since we have been away that we are really looking forward to these short trips, these of course are making sure the van is O.K. as we will be off in May on a much longer trip.
Wow, sounds great Helena, I hope all goes as you want and you get to see many great sights like the one in your AV. I'm stranded at home just for now due to a couple of hold ups but no biggy, I will be out and about soon.
Most of all Helena,

Weather's not looking too flash so hopefully the excitement of the new van will compensate and you'll have a good time anyway - it should give the van a good workout at least.
Thanks for all the good wishes we are hoping the weather may clear for us but it will be good to try the van out in wet weather anyway can't wait to get on the road tomorrow morning and know that we are not coming home for a week it really won't be long enough for either of us but at least it is a start.
