Travelling to Karumba

Hi all we are travelling to Karumba via Charters Towers and Mount Surprise (stopping at the Lava Tubes ). Due to circumstances we have a Triton 4x4 3lt petrol & towing a large van, I'm a little worried about being able to get fuel along the way as there don't seem to be to many fuel stops.  My tank holds around 75 lt and I have a spare 20lt drum in reserve. Cheers Ben

Ps has anyone heard if the fish are bitting at Karumba

Left Karumba last week and the word around town is that there are no fish at all.....We travelled from Innisvale via the tubes and Normanton to Karumba and there are quite a number of fuel stops at roadhouses etc. The price is a little high but you have to expect it when you are in the outback. Have a safe trip
