Hmmm, I haven't seen anything like it. Any Westralians know?

Edit... I think its Bossiaea walkeri, and the orchid is a caladenia.

My book is "Field guide to Australian Wildflowers" by Denise Grieg.

Thanks for the orchid info Gerty. Would like to know what the red one on what looks like a cactus leaf lying on the ground is. Not in my book.

 Am not seeing these sort of wild flowers here around the south west just yet.  Only the wattle and hardengergia and Geraldton wax.  Cant wait for spring.
