Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at dingo creek, approx 10km nth side of Longreach? Travellers I have met have told me that 'the waterhole' gets crowded, dusty and no shade.
Not sure about Dingo Creek but we had a fantastic camp on the Darr River on the Winton road. Turn of to the right just before the bridge. Fireplaces and dozens of sites along the river. The water hole had 37 vans, dirt bikes, generators and dust at the time so we gave it a miss.
