Duh and Dunmowin do morning tea.

Hey all, finally met up with Duh  - share a coffee and many stories.  It is always good to catch up with fellow GNs.  Still in the process of organising general meet up at Rockingham

You'll keep Gary Kelly ! wink biggrin

Rotten trip (except of course catching up with GN's) thanks for your hospitality Dunmowins, also caught up with Colls, Mr & Mrs JRH, Jayco Gypsy and Delta 18.....oh and that Chinaman that I ran over several times kept appearing, the last time on the way home on the Kwinana freeway when I looked in the rear viewing mirror and saw my awning arm flapping outwards like the hand on a "ta ta lizard".

Thank goodness for my added Velcro straps to the arm, needed a bit of mechanical re-adjustment in the emergency lane to get it back in it's keeper, but at least the awning itself didn't unroll, but I reckon if I had kept going much longer the whole lot would have been torn off (arms and awning)... Hmmm......add that to the engine warning dash light coming on, accidently locked mobile and didn't have a PUK code for it, RAC bloke driving off with my keys, getting soaked on the wettest day on record, etc, etc.....you get the picture....

It looks like I left Perth just in time last Tuesday. Gee you had a bad trot there Vic. It can only get better now, as it can't get any worse.
I'm a bit sorry I missed the GN Collection. I did spend a day with Colls, dining on rice crackers.
I spent the previous weekend with Dunmowin' at Bunbury, catching up as we do.
Then I spent a few days up in the hills catching up with the President of the National Pilot Vehicle Drivers Association Ian and his wife Prue the Treasurer.
Yeah, we talked pilot stuff, and as the new Publicity Officer we talked promoting pilot stuff, and how to get the safety message across to nomads and other motorists.
Take care everyone.

Saw another Merc Pilot Vehicle (written on side of vehicle) similar to yours with signs etc, I think it was in Pinjarra, so must be a couple around.

The WA meet up should be good, thanks to the Dunmowin's for arranging it, hoping the rains will have "rained out" by then, LOL ! smile

Maybe you will be here for the next one! smile

PS:  You sure get around in your job, east/west, north/south......smile

Hello Chris, Good to hear you're home.  We did have more than rice crackers, we had choc cake that I pulled from the plastic wrap oven

wink  Hopefully by the time you visit next time I will be able to drive and have the cupboards stocked.   smile
