We have moved to just north of Arno Bay

We left Port Lincoln about a week ago and doing it very slowly. We arrived at Port Arno today, stopping off at every little town on the way. One of the things we have noted is that they have great beaches along this East coast of the Eyre Peninsula, Would rival any others anywhere else. The Peninsula has so much to offer and we have not seen it all. In our opinion you could spend at least 3 months here easy.

I realize it depends upon how you travel but we have come across travellers that say that have seen it all in a week, no way.

We still have the Flinders Ranges before we leave SA and head into NSW via Broken Hill.

Anyway wherever you are enjoy the journey and stay safe.

Brian and Chery

You are not wrong about how much there is to see on the Eyre Peninsula.  We spent about two months, and don't think we saw it all (have to save some for the next lap)  Did you get to do the Whalers Way, out of Port Lincoln, and Koppio Museum?

We spend three months in Flinders Ranges, and in all, near to 12 months in South Australia.

Sounds great over there Cheryl and Brian, I will have to put that area on my bucket list for sure. It won't be long and you will be in my dust. Hope you and the girls are enjoying it all, lap it up.

We spent about 3 weeks plus  just coming down the west coast. You may remember it was you that gave us the heads up about SA, so thanks for the info and we really are looking forward to spending time in the Flinders Ranges.

Thanks NeilnRuth for your comments. We are really enjoying our time in SA but especially this Peninsular. Just giving you a heads up. When we come out of SA we are headed to Byron Bay to catch up with one of Cheryl' s sisters before we head back to Melb to catch up with kids for Christmas. We are intending to come down the coast way for part of the way to catch up with JC and wondered if you are going to be home mid/late Nov as we would love to catch up again.

See how it works out and hope to catch up

Regards

Brian & Cheryl

Ha! You are visiting the Centre of the Universe! Some have called it Gods Own country, particularly this time of the year. We lived there for a few years back in the 70's and had the best of times with the best of folks.
Make sure to visit Red Banks, then onto Cowell do the coastal route from Elbow Hill to Point Gibbon and the past the south end of Franklin Harbour to Cowell. Lovely coastal region with some old coast watch gun placement ruins set up to protect the Whyalla Ship Yards.
