My sister has had a Sunliner EuroIsle for a few years now, which she bought on the Sunshine Coast, but I don't remember which dealer she got it from. [ I probably could find out.] As far as I know, [ I'm sure she would have informed me loudly,] she has had no complaints. She's been around the block, and still has no intention of buying property again yet. She tows a Getz to use as a run-a-round when House-sitting, or camped for some time in one place.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Another saturday of browsing around a few MH dealers is done and I am already undecided what to go for.
It will end with Winnebago / Sunliner / Talvor or if someone has a good idea .... KEA.
Had a look at a KEA Dreamtime today. Totally overpriced. 75k. 2007. 260k on the odo. ))). Love the humor of some of the dealers.
My it was roomy. The back section with the big lounge and the big windows was fantastic. Add my drop down bed to it and freshen up the interior and this would be the way to go, buuuut...... the cab was designed by outminded midgets. Put the drivers seat in the lowest possible position and had 2mm left between my head and the roof. Doesn't feel very good. One bump and I have a broken neck. . Maybe it is possible to lower the seat base 10cm. Then it would be close to be perfect for further improvements.
Winnebago and the Sunliner range offer very good value for the money too. Good, that I have a minimum of 20 months left to make my final decision.
What's the topic is about this is the behavior of the dealers I visited the last few weekends.
Make up a quick review. Not representative, because there might be reasons for acting that way.
Sunshine RV (Sunliner) : They have two yards. One one the sunshine coast and one in tanah merah.
Sunshinecoast: "I don't have any time. Browse around on your own." Wow. Same experience two weekends in a row.
Tanah Merah: Was supported all the time and all questions were answered. What a difference. Thumbs up.
Queensland RV: Quite average. Not too much, not too less. All right.
Hinterland Motorhomes Burleigh Heads. (Winnebago) : Very good customer support. All questions answered without beeing pushy. Thumbs up.
Greens RV: Hopeless overpriced but all questions answered and not left alone.
Around Australia Motorhomes: No one had been in the mood to come out of the office while I was browsing around for more than 20 minutes.
Talvor: Seems to be good value for money. Live around the corner of their factory and they had their factory sale. Thumbs up. All questions answered and it seems they have good quality on offer.
Now I have a question for you. Is here anyone who bought his MH from Prickles Auctions ? Seems they have good offers but if I add GST and Stamp duty and whatever.....is the price already that good ? They have nice KEA's on offer but if a 63k price comes up at the end with all included like 75k than it's not worth to think about........and if I don't get the seating problem solved.....
Bernie,,,We rented a Kea motor home for a month and they had a list of all their units that were coming up for re-newal ....Which you could buy direct from them...(cutting out the middle man)......
Maybe if you were to call them or some of the other Motor home rental companies they may have what you are after...
Cheers
Rosco

All the rental companies run adds on the net and some times the deals are excellent. They also warranty their rigs which you won't get at a auction or a private sale. I would also get it inspected by the NRMA RACQ ? as so things can run you into big bucks to repair /replace.

I'm on my second Jayco MH and after looking at all models and brands, the Jayco was best value for money. Dealer was great, nothing to much of a problem.
Looked at all the others and couldn't find anything for the same value for money as the Jayco
7 years is a long time. Maybe the ownership has changed . This guy was not very motivated. Completely different to the yard in Tanah Merah.
Doesn't matter. Lots of other mums have nice daughters too...... .
And another big "spot on' to this forum and the members. I make my way through hundreds of posts and lots of questions are answered before I could even think about asking . That does not mean that I will not ask . The search function is not really good, bur hey.....it's not too bad either.

There's another dealer on the way to Sydney at Bennet Green between Newcastlle and Belmont on the Pacific Highway they have a vast range to view I have looked at there range a number of times just drooling all the time at this stage . remember there's an asking price and a price there worth, which are normally poles apart They do drop their value very quickly from new of a couple of years , most dealer will talk business when they know your fairdinkum about buying. A lot of dealers also take on MH on consignment and the owner is asking the earth but the dealer is more realistic when it comes to a deal or no deal situation and will put your offer to the owner. Example there is a 2000 Ford Transit in our local yard asking 69K, the book price for one in better condition is 39- 49.- upto 55K for top of the line but the owner won't come down so there it sits One sitting alongside is up for 24K but a little rough needs some love and attention

You are right. A few do so. Like Apollo/Talvor I've visited yesterday.
Others, like KEA seem to work together with RV Dealers. Looks like Sydney RV Centre is the KEA thing. Had a look at their offers and it doesn't look too bad. Anyone here has experience with Sydney RV Centre ?
SRVC : KEA Dreamtime ; 2010 ; 114000 km ; 78kA$ compared to the one from yesterday 2007; 260000 km ; 74 kA$ .
Back again Berni. My sister bought hers 7 years ago from Sunshine State RV, at Kawana. She's had no major problems with it so far, and is still happy with it, as from 15 minutes ago.
