Come to Wingham, we have a free camp for self contained rigs down by the riverside, short walk to town, and the award winning Bent On Food cafe.
Showgrounds, not so good, no flat areas and is $25 per night or $100 per week, and some interesting permanent residents, and views of my office.
If your rig is setup for off road, there is a another free camp at Rocks Crossing, not far up Nowendoc Rd , past Mt George (one of my favorite drives) but I haven't look at it for while, there is also another private camp along that road, but gets busy sometimes.
I've camped many a night in the Tapin Top National Park, roads came be an issue, but I get my 2wd hilux there no issues.
If you use caravan parks, we loved the "Dawson River" caravan park just north of Taree, backs onto the river... beautiful.
Or you could go out to the Crowdy Bay NP on the beach.., nice campground there. Harrington's a nice little place too.
Here I is! Not feeling well tho... not sure what it is, cold or flu, but it's laid me up for a few days so far and I'm not over it yet. All I'm doing is sleeping, day and night.
I was right. -hiding in the back of the camper. It would keep him from giving the flu to someone else. The Freeway/winnabagels are comfortable things. Get better soon, Bill
MMMM sounds like a similar bug I caught from the grand kids 3 weeks ago, just over it now. Hey Gary don't know if you are a drinking man, but try rum and cloves, might help, well it helped me and I forgot about the cold LOL get better soon mate
Try a few drops in your favourite hot or cold herbal tea.
The purists would drink it with rum as an excuse to cure colds, or add it to brandy for stomach upsets.
A favourite mix is 50-50 with Spiced Apple, either hot or cold.
It is also popular for it's distinctive flavour with soda or lemonade
Yeah, I to was wondering where you got to Gary ?? Have a couple of friends that have come down with this bl--dy flu and just like you they are tired all the time and sleeping/Dozing day and night, Hope it breaks soon,
