Here I am practising reversing and hooking up the garage, only untill the van arrives. By the way we are still looking and researching for our perfect affordable van any suggestions on what would look good?

Hi Kate and Steve,

We ordered a caravan from the website of Opalite Caravans. It was delivered within 2 Weeks in WA. The factory is in Eastern Australia. We are extremely satisfied with our van. When we arrive where ever we go we get requests to see the van inside. It is not your ordenary van that you see or the road. You will find that the pricing is well below the same if you compare apples with apples. It really is worth your while to have a look on their website. We saved at least $ 20 000.00 on the purchase price by not buying from a competitor in the same range. For us we had to pay the transport company to deliver the van which was not too much but much cheaper if we had to collect and do a two way trip.

Hi Galare777, thanks for the info and recommendation and as it happens Steve really likes Opalites. I will have to have a look at them and it would be good if we could see them at one of the RV shows coming up.  What would you say are its best features? Saving $20K would be a bonus.

Hi Kate and Steve, wow nice Ranger...we have the previous model in a Wildtrak version, its an auto and we love it....tows our van without a problem. That being said my wife and l had been looking for about 5yrs on and off for a Mobile home....we looked and compared everything from 5th wheelers, camper trailer,s, slide-on's, Winnebago's and finally van's. Then when we decided on Caravan's, we needed to decide on type ie:- Pop top, Base station, Off road, and overall size vs weight and most important of all, what type of camping/living did we plan for now and into the future, as our desires and needs change....We literally looked at 100's of van,s of all makes and model,s, so much so that they all started looking the same. Then one day around Christmas 2012 we where driving through Bendigo and we pulled up alongside this really nice looking van that was called a Bluesky Grande Viento, we where really impressed by it's looks from the outside and thankfully their wheel cover had the Dealer address and phone number so we made inquiries as soon as we arrived home. Long story short, we purchased a custom built Bluesky Fairhaven viento in January and picked it up in May....I have to say pound for pound against all the other vans we looked at the Bluesky won hands down, in Finish, Price and feature's we are very happy with our decision to purchase this Model and Brand and would recommend it to anybody looking for a Midrange Price van, by that l mean with what we got on our van as standard most other model's where 20k++ dearer....and Bluesky are member's of the RVMAA and CIA so there in it for the long haul...The only thing l would have done differently is l would go direct to the Manufacturer next time, and cut out the dealer and thus saving even more money....here is a link to Bluesky van's hope that helps you alittle bit.....Happy van shopping!!
Cheers
