wivenhoe dam/Captain Logans/Lumley Hill

noyawn howdy all, well it is just about official except for the legal paperwork to be signed for the privatisation of captain logans/lumley hill at wivenhoe dam to be awarded to the successfull tender. it will be interesting to see what the new owners will do with both sites. at the moment there are no motor powered boats allowed on wivenhoe dam, i hope it stays this way for the peace and serenity. seq water are taking advance bookings for the next 12 months at the present rates. will just have to wait and see. in my opinion i think this is part of the Qld governments part of privatising certain assetts.

cheers to all

Crocodile.

Well, we Qlders voted them in, and now we are reaping the spoils of a Lib/Nat govt. Just think of what will happen when Abbott gets in.......We got rid of Costello, but we still have Abbott.........Bill

Bloody hell  ...  first I've heard of this ...  One of my favorite places at risk.   Don't blame me.  I didn't vote for them.

Must have been hidden away in that impartial Commission of audit.   I think that Abbot intends to do the same at the Federal level.

The strangest thing I have read is regarding Hyde Park in Sydney. ...They are talking about allowing a private company to erect glamping

Tents.
