Gday...

Well - in a way the Goolgowi CP has closed ... the 'old' original one.

But they have opened up a very new one next to the RSL - a new building.

This may help -

Goolgowi Caravan Park
Crn Combo & Napier Street
Goolgowi NSW 2652
Located 1km northeast of the post office.
Telephone Number: (02) 6965 1900
This Park is very small but nice and quiet and away from the highway
To obtain a key call into Carrathool Shire Council Office Stipa Street between 8.30 to 4.15 Monday to Friday or
the Royal Mail Hotel Zara Street Goolgowi 6965 1406

Cheers - John

Gday...

When I was there last April, I was a bit late for tucker at the RSL so headed to the Goolgowi pub which had cheap but beautiful, country-style meals.

Just ANOTHER great little inland town that loves, and welcomes, travellers.

Cheers - John

I have a friend who owns a house in Goolgowi and last time I stayed there, the park was about to be moved to the new site. It is a nice little town and as you say both the pub and the RSL do good basic food. Nice to hear it is now open.

One big advantage is the width of the streets in town, very wide and easy to turn in. Fuel is a bit expensive but it's a small town so not surprising.

Fred We were there 5 weeks ago .It is an absolute delight ! so clean in everyway.Just pull in and connect to power and water then cross the road to the RSL and pay $ 16 .20 [seniors] and have drink whilst there. You put the supplied key in a box at the WC block as you depart.Enjoy!! John.
