Low cost showground list.

Please note that it would be great if you only mention the location of the showground, Tariff and say toilet shower and dump point.

No need to go into specifics or likes and dislikes.

So let's get the list started.

This an example of how we could compile a list. The only thing is I do not know how we can have the list and add to that list without say having to use the quote symbol.

Any clues would be great. 

I guess that we could add other heading, but the KISS system is best.

Anyway it is worth a try to get a system going so we can all benefit from it.

Your help would be appreciated.

Bathurst, good facilities, no dump, $21 per night
Narrabri, average toilets, forget the showers, no dump, but nice spot, $14 per night.

Would it be an advantage to include a phone number so one could phone ahead to see if something was happening at the showgrounds and prevent camping? I know KISS is best so maybe if one knew showground camping was an option they would locate the phone number via google or whatever.

Instead of reinventing the wheel, why not upload them to wikicamps, then they are there for everyone

As well as wikicamps, why not just add them to the Free/Budget Campsites Suggested by our Contributors.

 I've actually tried to get wikicamps on my phone, but as usual, one needs a credit card. grrr! ie: If you don't have an account with Telstra, which I haven't. I have prepaid.

Woodford (Qld) showground. Can't remember how much I paid but it was around the $12 mark. Toilets and showers cleaned daily. Nice showground and within walking distance of shops.

Boonah Showgrounds - Melbourne St., Boonah - $25pn Power and Water - $125/week (2 people) - $8 single unpowered pn. Dump point, washing machine (1 only $1.60 per wash-no dryer). Walk to shops. Not available Mid May, due to annual show.

Kalbar showgrounds , George St., Kalbar.$18 pn - power and water $13 single pn. Dump point. Annual show in mid July.
