Howdy all, been looking through the camps aust books and seen various camp spots on the oxley highway. have heard some talk of donation style payment ( which is no probs anywhere) of camping behind or near the long flat hotel, hope that is the correct name for the hotel. also was told pub has showers/toilets providing one buys a meal or a few drinks.
Its called The Travellers Rest. Has camping facilities and certainly showers for guests but I don't know about campers. Their phone number is: 02 6587 4231. I have stayed there many times on motorbike trips and it is a great little pub.
