Caravan parks in Alice Springs

Hi Campers, We are in Yulara, (Uluru) and freezing.... hmm  Thought we left freezing Vic. behind.... Anyways, going to Alice Springs in a couple of days and wondering if anyone can recommend a CP there...  I think there are 5 parks  but not sure which is the 'safest'..  Thanks, Jay-Jay

We liked the G'day Mate. Nothing went missing while we were there, but theres signs everywhere saying to keep valuables locked away.

We stayed out at Temple Bar caravan park on a working station just south west of Alice (about 14km out of town I think).  Old facilities but nice and clean and safe.

The Macdonnell Range Holiday Park (Big4) is good, but maybe a tad pricier than some others. We have stayed there twice so far and have had no problems at all.
