OUR WESTERN HOMESTEAD /TROOPY IS HOME

Nice Rig Grae and Deb, glad you are happy with your rig.  Grae, are they your wife's fluffy slippers you've got on ?????

Out of interest, Western Caravans suspended trading (making vans) for awhile but looks like they are back in business, I don't recognise their managers name (see contacts) and they also have changed their previous sales outlet.

Have you bought yours recently?  See this link;

http://www.westerncaravans.com.au/

PS: I had some work (fitted my airconditioner) done by them years ago on my Avan camper, when they were selling via George Day caravans.....

Yep, you are right mate, gotta have those fluffy slippers in the cold weather, lol ! wink biggrin

Glad your van is up to scratch there was a lot of things going on behind the scene with trading etc when the original family owners had it that the public didn't know about (I still don't) so don't know if the new owners are the same (or one of) family members or not.

I nearly bought one myself they had a nice 15 footer with elevated fridge etc I had my eye one.   All timber framed from memory.

I've thought about the basket idea.
Now that I've seen them in application I think I'll be going that way.
Thanks for the photos.

no worries mate .we were governed by size of the cupboards
the baskets came in 3 differnt sizes and materials ie mesh size and the main white ones are bottom runners so you get the full width of the basket
good runners on the ela ones from howards storage
we are really glad we did it , another one is good in limited sizes is the kleenmaid, one of the pics shows a kleenmaid basket bottom right cnr ,on a bottom runner too , bit more crude design but does the job , can get them in bunnings now
hope this helps
