For those with not enough room in a small van or campervan for a captains chair or similar who want a comfortable backrest to read etc, these cushions are ideal.
We have a couple of them we bought in Spotlight years ago, you can put them against the wall to sit sideways on your bed (use a pillow behind them if the wall is too far back) and if single beds put your feet up on the opposite bed, or put them at the top of your bed with your legs down the bed. I find them ideal for reading books etc.
I saw them in Spotlight today, the velour ones on the upper shelf cost $69, while the smooth material ones cost $59, these also had small pockets in the arms, don't know about the velour ones they were too high for me to see. See pic's attached.
PS: Spotlight also sell egg crate foam bed toppers.....
We have a couple of folding backrests from Innovations mail order. Makes it easy to sit up in bed to read/watch TV and fold flat to put away. Not sure if you can still get them though.
Thanks Sheba, that's the same as ours. Now I don't need to take a photo!
The Innovations mail-order where we got our back-rests no longer has them, where did you get yours Sheba?
That one is more like the first Pic. I posted Vic. Different to the $ 23.00 one in the Link. I hadn't found the cheaper one last night, and just took a copy of the dearer one, to show what they are like.
Hello all - I was in town yesterday and saw the backrests at BW for $28. I also received the Innovations magazine a couple of days ago and they were in that as well - I think around $59 - $69. Happy camping - Nelly
I just ordered one online Nelly, with postage and seniors discount the mob in the link provided by Sheba are sending me one for $29, thanks for the info on Big W though, I will pass that on to SWMBO as she wanted one too if mine looks ok, so Big W will be much easier and closer for her to get one or at least look at theirs in comparison to mine....Thanks for that Nelly !
Nelly, the $59.00 one is different again. [Page 48.] They call it a Bed-wedge. It has an adjustable Lumbar Roll, which can be put in 3 different positions.
Unless you've got a different "Innovations." Mine is the Winter Catalogue.
Cheers,
Sheba.
