WEIGHTS;

Was also talking to a bloke in Port Douglas,who owns a coach made into a motor home, I could not get the full gist of what he was saying,but he said he got pulled over some where  along the Bruce H/Way QLD,and that they put him over the weigh bridge ,and that was all fine but some thing to do with not keeping a log book.Maybe some one else who has a converted coach may know more about that.

I just spoke to a very good mate who has returned from WA  a few weeks back who said that the law was weighing car & vans at Norseman; beware.

Yeh!
Heard is all before about van weighing from a friend of a friends next door neighbours cousin and loads of third party travellers.
Who?
When?
Where?
By Whom?
And under what legislation?

Cheers, Ozjohn.

PS> Depending on size the coach may be covered by different regulations to light trailers.

Was under the impression that log books only needed for commercial vehicles over 4.5t. Maybe he not registered as a motorhome which is private I thought.

 Hi Peter, yep I could not understand ,what he was going on about as it was a two way conversation at the servo.

All I know is he was not a happy camper.
