40 mile beach WA

Just arrived here and staying for 4 weeks hiding away from the school holidays .

Good news is that thaey now a water supply tap at the airport fence perimeter  about 5 klms away from the campsite saves a long trip into Karratha for it

smileGreat spot Cleaverville.. Access road was good, grader had recently been over the road so minimal corrugations. Oysters aplenty at low tide.  Very relaxing

When at Cleaverville don't miss the $20 'all you can eat' dinner at the Wickam Worker's mess, soup, 3 - 4 hot main courses, similar cold courses and several desserts.

Then there is the $10 Fish & Chips Lunch at Point Wallcott just up the road.

Cheers Neil

yes Spida - Love Pardoo - great community campfires  and Sunday roasts at the restaurant but mozzies here especially just on dark. I have found the only thing that works for me is  'Bushmans' - yes I know - full of nasties but desperate circumstances call for desperate measures. Pinocleen wipes help the itch.

Try mixing  a few drops of Bundy rum or I guess any type of rum mixed in with some damp sand and rub it over your exposed parts.
