I had to say something special for my 1000th post, right? It's a milestone! Or a kilostone if you like. So I figured I'd say something about my decision to become a member of the Grey Nomads Forum. Without a doubt, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Not only have I met some great peeps (no names, no pack drill) but I've also learned a helluva lot. And not just about camping and travelling. There's a stack of info here about all kinds of things, including life itself.
I think the most outstanding quality of this forum is the willingness of its members to help people with questions, and not only newbies. All of us, no matter how experienced, can learn something new and valuable every day. Also, when someone asks a question, we can all learn from the answers. I'm constantly surprised by reading stuff I didn't even realize I didn't know! Hehe.
So a big thanks to management and members of the GNs Forum. It's a wonderful thing to be part of.
My golly gosh Gary, that didn't take long. You are right though there are some lovely folk here on the forum with plenty of ideas, tips and laughs. Keep on keeping on...
Well done - pretty prolific effort - must be a sign that you've got too much time on your hands and maybe it's time you put things to better uses like driving :)
