State of Origin Qld V NSW

I doubt that Queensland will be happy to surrender after they have " Eight is enough" in the bag again this year.

Let's be honest, Do you really think that NSW can over power the Mighty Maroons?

Try as they might, or should I say Cry as they will, I can not see the ****ies getting on top of the Cane Toads.

Let's go Q U E E N S L A N D E R.

I think and sincerely believe that we will win our 8th series. However, Laurie Daley is the best coach they could have come up with in my opinion.
Interesting statistic however is that after 96 games there is only 73 points difference and we have won only 8 games more than the blues.
After we beat them in Sydney you'll see Nathan Merritt come into their squad which will mean real trouble if he handles the step up.
My suburb is not a good area to be a blues supporter, lots of Indigenous people here and they are REALLY passionate about SOO.

I'll be over the moon if Qld wins, but looking at the teams, I reckon that it will be a mighty task this year.

Gidley out is a negative for us and the extra ill gotten game in NSW is a major hurdle ...  All we need is that turncoat  Harrigan to make a comeback as a Ref & NSW is a shoe in.  I'd love to see a SOO with Harrigan & Gomersal as the two refs.

But then we aught to have a close look at Gallen.  The way he plays he's just got to be a Queenslander.

It'll be a quiet night at our place 'cos I'm off the booze, so the neighbours will get a break ....  no yelling at the commentators or match officials this year.

If we win this series we have to be good things for a decade of wins.

I wonder if Conk, sorry Lawrie D, not having coached a NRL team is a good thing  .. hope so.

Go QUEENSLANDER!!!

With the long seated rivalery between the Staes ofNSW and Victoria, I agree that we will have about another 3 to 4 million sup[ports for the Mighty Maroons.

So sad  ...  But the blues came out of the blocks & blew us away.  They deserved the win & were the better side even though we won the second half 6 - 0.

Pitty about their captain ..  Hope he gets what he deserves for his cowardly act ..  first coming in late & giving Miles a forearm to the head while he was being held by at least two tacklers.  Would you believe the ref let the game go on but was forced to intervene when Gallen punched a defenceless Miles several times to the head ... and then complained that Myles had, some time back, twisted his leg in a tackle.  Spare me!

If Tallis deserved a send off in a SOO a few years ago  by that slug Harrigan for talking back to the ref a few years ago, surely Gallen should have gone for an absolute minimum of 10 minutes for two instances of deliberate & premeditated foul play.  In my view he should have been off for the night.  After the game he said that Miles has been the dominant forward & some one had to stand up to him,  clearly indicating that the cowardly fowl acts were premeditated & part of the game plan.   ....... and I'm not biased of course.

Lets see how the judiciary act .. I think that they will give him 5 weeks.   Maybe just long enough for him to be elegible to play next SOO game.
