Extra power points on outside of van

I used two spots of Velcro above my outside power point and I vcro a power board on the wall above the powerpoint, it allows me to have extra plugs out there for toaster, jug, frypan etc.

Works well.

No thanks I won't and don't. Just gives me an extra point if I need it. Mostly use the bar b q or fire.

Good idea....we use an extension lead from inside but that idea is much better.
Seeing as powerboards have a 10amp circuit breaker inbuilt I'd imagine there is no danger unless your wiring inside the van is dodgy. The powerpoint will be rated at 10amps. You could use all the outlets as long as total current draw did not exceed 10amps and if it did then the circuit breaker would pop.
But I could be wrong and welcome someone to point out any dangers in my reasoning.

Yes, Denis, that's the idea of the circuit breaker in the power board. As you imply it's a good idea to take care not exceed a total of 10 amps (a toaster and a jug together may do this) but if you do the board's circuit breaker will take care of it.  It's usually a little red button at the end of the board where the cord is. If a board does not appear to be working this is worth checking, just press it to reset.

I have a similar set-up, including the velcro, that I use from time to time.
