Burren Juntction..

Hello I am taking  the  grandkids to the  Burren hot water bore for the  long weekend  ....

Can someone tell me .

Can I have a fire ?

Can you buy wood out there or will I need to take some ?

Thanks

Hi Jude, I don't think there is any problem with a fire at Burren Junction but you would have to take your fire wood with you as there is no wood anywhere near the bore, Rod

Burren Junction is about 1/2 way between Walgatt & Narrabri.
The hot springs pool is donut shaped and about 38 C. About 6ft deep with seats around the edge. Several sets of steps to get in & out easily.
Free camping on 2 large flat red soil areas. Free swimming, showers, toilets, dump point, laundry tub & clothes line.
Donations are requested.
Top spot. Get in early as it fills up mid afternoon.
Some stay for weeks.
Good food at the nearby pub or RSL.
No fuel available.
