I had a very bad accident 3 n 1/2 yrs ago and have only been walking properly (or nearly) for the last 3 mths I did have a few bad days in that time but I tried not to whinge as I realised that there were others a lot worse off than me. I am 61 and have a job interview tomorrow, wish me luck, cause it will make it easier for me to get out into the Playground Yaahhhooooooooo
As Billeeee says, "Life is good, ....See you out in the playground"
my best wishes and good luck for tomorrow, good to see there are still some real men out there...............
G'day
Hi Pauline, what do you mean by your ( real men out there) we are still real and living even if we don't work, we are still contributing our time and effort and spending our dollars whilst we journey around this great country. Can't fathom your statement and yea I still count myself as a real man.
Sorry to highjack your post re, life is good, but good luck with the job, hope it all works out for you.
sorry Kev was not casting aspertions on the people on this forum or others re not working, was just a bit of angst left over from another thread, once again no offence meant
Hey Kev, why do people like you take things the wrong way.........feeling guilty???? Has somebody at sometime cast doubts on your manhood??? Mate I haven't been working for the past three and a half years and I am no lesser of a man than anyone. .......BUT you by your comment to Pauline, are a lesser man in mine and many others mind .......so be a man and apologise to her for your post....... OH by the way I got the job..........THANKS EVERYONE..............Sarg.
Pauline has made amends and I accept that it was not a well meaning choice of words. So there is no need to take it further Sarge, glad you got the job.
