Some Murray lands caravan parks


I've put some info together if anyone is heading to the Murray lands. It may be of some use

Park Name: Avoca Dell Top Tourist May 2013  

Cost per night: Powered site $27.00 Top Tourist rate

Amenities: Old, clean, plenty of hot water, however there were not many campers. Mirrors were polished silver maybe a problem with poor eye sight. 

Appearance: Good

Staff: Friendly

Facilities: Good camp kitchen, fridge & big eating area. Rain water tank, TV digital Adelaide channels good reception, quite park overlooking the river.

 Cabins: Standard

Experience: Overall good

 

Park Name Mannum Top Tourist May 2013

Cost per night: Powered site $27.90 Top Tourist rate

Amenities: Clean & in good condition, plenty of hot & cold water

Appearance: A bit messy as leaves all over the ground (same as in the town, must be time of year) The Park had a street sweeper go through.

Staff: Ok

Facilities: Camp Kitchen, Bunk House, BBQ area, Brassier for open fires throughout, rain water tank, toilet dump, unpowered sites, TV digital Adelaide Channels good reception, park overlooking the river.

Noisy ****ies for about 2hrs every morning & night

Cabins: Standard

Appearance: Good

 Experience: Overall good

 

Park Name Morgan Riverside Top Tourist May 2013

Cost per night: Powered site $25.00 Top Tourist

Amenities:  Not enough, old, clean, separate room for showers & toilets. Shower has not enough hot water, floor slippery when wet & only thin needle spray from shower nozzle.

Facilities: BBQ area, some grass and dirt areas, all level, Rain Water tank, toilet dump, pool, park overlooking river, TV digital country, good reception, rain water tank

Not enough lighting, roads within the park has pot holes and with the lighting you could fall over.  Only one amenity block (a bit of a hike)

Cabins: Standard

Appearance: Ok

Experience: Overall poor.

 

Berri Riverside Caravan Park May 2013

Cost: Per night $27.50 Powered site Top Tourist rate

Staff: Friendly

Amenities: Nice clean toilets, showers with plenty of room & hot water.

Facilities: Dirt & grassed areas all level, unpowered sites, BBQ areas, camp kitchen, function area, bunk house, kids play area, toilet dump, rain water tank, swimming pool, TV digital country, good reception

Cabins: Standard, deluxe, superior, en-suite,

Appearance: Good

Experience: Overall good

 

Renmark River bend Caravan Park May 2013

Cost: Per night $31.50 Powered site Top Tourist rate

Staff: Friendly

Amenities: Nice clean toilets, showers with plenty of room & hot water.

Facilities: Grassed areas all level, unpowered sites, BBQ areas, camp kitchen, toilet dump, rain water tank,  TV digital country,  reception ok with some peculation Set antenna vertical.

 Cabins: Standard,

Appearance: Good

Experience: Overall good

 

Loxton Riverfront  Caravan Park May 2013

Cost: Per night $30.00 Powered site. Lower section, Non-member, Big 4

 

Staff: Very friendly

Amenities: Nice clean toilets, showers,  plenty of hot water

Facilities: Grassed & Dirt areas, all level, unpowered sites, BBQ Area, rain water tank, TV digital country,  reception good

Appearance: Good

Experience: Overall good
