Just wondering if you would like to know about a couple of websites that monitor fuel prices, including diesel in regional areas? I think I hear a resounding 'YES!'
Okay, they are: 'Captain Compare' and 'MotorMouth'. They do other comparisons as well like roadside assistance, insurance and hire cars.
If we ask her nicely, maybe Sheba will provide links to their sites, and even tell us how she does it ;)
Another thought, why don't we have a permanent thread where we can report cheap fuel locations when we find them on our ramblings?

So on the computer highlight the text you want to hyperlink, then with a mouse click on the link icon (looks like a chain) Link URL is the actual page where you want viewers to visit, I set the above to open in a new window and the Title can be the link itself or any other grabby text.
Hope that helps :)
Edit again, just used Captain Compare and when entering in 2754 postcode it did not show two service stations close by that were 10c cheaper than the ones shown on the webpage..... So maybe something better ou there to compare. BTW I prefer to use Caltex vortex diesel although Shell also now has a premium diesel in limited locations too.

Just returned from Lighting Ridge and noted that fuel prices got cheaper the further I went out Along the East Coast they are increasing daily. Ever nted that when our $ was abut 85 cents the price of fuel was down ,now they say the falling dollar will cause a sharp rise in fuel, can't win either way
