I don't see why a domestic company couldn't do it for you. They would make the screen up to suit then fit it as in many cases they are fitted to aluminium window frames. I would also guess they would be cheaper than an RV place. Remember too that they generally use security type screws although they would possibly pop rivet them on.
Edit. The Crim Safe mesh would be better (also more expensive) because you still have the safety but not the "in your face" prison grille. Also I believe you can get finer mesh that is "supposed" to keep the midges out, worth asking a question.

I have seen a few converted Coasters and other types of campervans with the domestic type security screen on the windows, if I went with something like this can you get a normal security door/window company to do it or does it need a proper RV repairer to fit them?
I have two sliding windows on my Transit sliding door and providing it doesn't interfere with the awning arms coming down one side am thinking of having these fitted. I can probably have just flyscreen screens fitted for this type of window, but would prefer the amplimesh type barrier, or perhaps that new security mesh fitted...
Any advice on fitting and type please, all ideas welcome, main idea is being able to leave the windows open on a fine day when going somewhere (eg; walk etc) and still having the van reasonably secure.

I hadn't thought of the finer mesh, definitely worth asking about. Thanks for the other suggestions to Legendts
I have seen quite a few home conversions with amplimesh and other types of screens fitted to Coasters and buses and wondered if they have an emergency exit point.
Good point Yug, I did see a couple of roof ones on one of the RV part sites.
My rear doors can be opened from the inside so between them and the side sliding door will probably be enough for me, my last High Ace did not have an inside rear door unlocking device which I thought was crazy, but I sold it before I got around to doing something about it.
Agree that a roof one may be needed for a rear end collision and roll over if the exits are blocked though!

A pleasure my friend. These forums are great when the idea bank runs a bit dry or you're not sure which way to go eh! A wealth of others experience to tap into and I love that aspect.
