Egg Rings

Want round fried eggs? Cut an onion into rings and put in the pan to cook the egg in. Havent tried it yet but thought that was a great idea. Depending on the onion diameter then thick or thin rings.....biggrin

Good idea Spida, never thought of the onion ring, but have used a slice of Capsaicin and pulled out the middle of a slice of bread to use in the same way to fry a egg.

Regards Herbie.

Saw somewhere, might have been facebook, where it said you can also cook an egg inside a slice of capsicum.

The onion ring is a great egg ring. A fellow pilot recently cooked breakfast for me using just that method. He's a handy young man to have around, and a good cook too.
Unfortunately his father isn't available. I figured this wise young man had a have a great dad. It turns out he does, but his mum still has use for him. Ah well.......

I have a couple of those soft silicon egg 'rings' that you can turn inside out into heart shapes .... all very nice, but I think that the onion & capsicum rings are much better.

Thanks for the tip .... on my list for the next boys camp out red claw trip.

I'll have to stick to the bread, as I can't eat onion or capsicum.

That's so funny Chris!
