Hi all, new nomads

Hi all, We're new to this site & also new to being a grey nomads! My name is Ian & my partner's name is DEb. We're heading off from Mornington Peninsula tomorow (Thurs 16/05) morning over to Adelaide, then up the centre to Darwin, back down the east coast. The only definate place we have to be is Gympie at the end of August for the muster, which should be fun! Maybe we'll meet some new friends along the way. Any tips or advice for the long haul would be handy

biggrin

Hi Guys let me be the first of many to welcome you to the forum. Sounds like a nice trip you have planned. Although I am based in the SE Qld area I have never been to the Gympie muster despite wanting to (Envious).

Have a great trip and enjoy the lifestyle.

Cheers

Trevor

Welcome, the only tip from me is slow down once you see the back of Melbourne in your rearview mirror.Just relax and smell the roses or red dust or what ever ,but it is your time now to do your own thing at your own pace. No work commitments mean no scedual to keep up to . The only scedual you have is the Gympi Muster OH WHAT A FEELING

Regards Herbie.

And a big g'day and welcome from me as well. I'm still waiting for the big day but hopefully it won't be long. If your trip is anything like the rest of the Nomads on this forum, you'll have a ball.

Welcome Ian and Deb to our GN Forums. I'm sure you'll find some thing to talk about on here and learn some thing too.

Mmmmmm, to the naughty room with you Dazren with no rations. I will call a committee meeting and discuss banning you from the playground as well.

Welcome from me Runaway, enjoy here and out in the playground my friend. Don't take any notice of Dazren as he is just a naughty boy.
