Well, we would never have thought we would want to pay for a park that had a jumping pillow but last weekend we did. The circumstances were a little different I admit. We had a family weekend (us and our 5 kids and the 7 grandchildren) and the g'children and their parents were very happy to find an excellent swimming pool (only 1.3m deep) with water activities plus the jumping pillow - which they needed to warm up after being in the pool.
The big surprise was the cost. Norah Head Holiday Park(NSW) - owned by Wyong Council - member of Top Tourist and at this time of year only $26/powered site (less discount) AND they had the above facilities and 2 playgrounds and 3 amenity blocks. A great park and we will go there again.
So if they can do it so cheaply, why can't the others? Is it because they are a council owned park?
And why shouldn't you use all the play equipment Neil and Ruth, after all your were in the playground, even if for a short time only. Would have been fun with the grand kids. Did you both actually jump on the pillow and a pic would be good. Wombat could have fun with that one.

Hi i can just see it now up in lights out the front of caravan parks COME ON IN AND PLAY ON OUR JUMPING PILLOW THE GRAY NOMADS DO !!! What a marketing tool this will turn into now you have started .Good to see you got some value out of them.
No Doug, we left the sons to do the jumping. I didn't feel like I needed a broken bone. But one of our little fellows (4yr old) was jumping on his own when 3 'large' men turned up and took over. If looks could kill....I would have killed them! They then left a mess where they camped. Also drove too fast. Pity some people just don't know how to behave even when they are 'grown ups'. No example to our grandchildren.
