G'day, I was at the dentist this morning for my "irrigation" and noticed ball point ink marks on their new white vinyl tub chairs in the waiting room. They said they've tried everything to get the ink off - all the commercial cleaners, plus the old fashioned remedies. Anyone got any ideas?
Well, while I was waiting for you slow coaches, I did a Google and discovered this: homebrand acne cream. Slap it on fairly thickly and leave for 24 hours. Wipe off. If there's still a trace of ink, repeat process. It may take a few days but it works. And to prove it, the person with the problem answered the person with the solution to say it really does work. Took a few days but it drew all trace of the ink from the vinyl. So there ya go. I just phoned the dentist and told them. Might take a bit longer for them cos the chairs are in use during the day.

Acne creme eh..... if you had pimples on your bum, you could kill two birds with the one stone.
Now why does that remind me of my teen years going out with girls whose hair felt like a bird's nest? First time I ever kissed a girl I ended up with little balls of lipstick fat on my lips. Ew!
You ask Shannon Lush the cleaning lady. She will ask what type of biro was it - that makes a difference apparently. One of her solutions is letting some milk go rotten and using the curds that form to rub into it. I got it off white leather with methylated spirits and time faded the residue.
