Clearview towing mirrors

Would be really interested to know if  anyone has clearview (that's the brand name) mirrors, and if so how they perform? Please? we have a Bt50.

Gday...

I have not used these mirrors, but I have seen them on a fair few Land Cruisers ... those who have them seem to be extremely happy with them.

However, I tried their website -  http://www.clearviewmirrors.com.au/9865/HOME/  - it appears they do not have them for the BT50 ... although it shows in "latest news" the BT50 with electric mirrors will be "coming soon"

Cheers - John

Thanks John. Yes we have been in touch with Clearview for several months "coming soon " is the answer! Our van is due in June so we will have to make a decision soon. I did search this site and found posts from 2012. Most people seem happy with them?

I have them and would not tow without them. Absolutely brilliant. Big normal view mirror and a wide angle bottom mirror. I have absolutely no blind spots down the side of the van. Also when not towing, if you play around with the wide angle no area is blind either side of the vehicle, in other words, as you start to see the vehicle in you periphial vision you can still see it in the mirror as well. No taking them off when you drop the van off just a simple slide in and all good. Not cheap but worth every penny, sorry cent.

Hi gooba53,

We had Clearview mirrors on our Pajero and found them excellent. We were interested in your question because we pick up our new BT50 today and had already looked to see if we could get mirrors for it. With the Pajero we had to wait for a few months before they came out. Bob found them easy to install and just followed each step as shown in the DVD.

If anyone out there needs mirrors for a Pajero pm me.

Hi Gail

my husband phoned clearview again today, they said end of month. But they have been saying that a while. I'm glad they are trying to get them right. It sounds like they are worth waiting for. We've had our bt since December and love it. Have only towed the boat so far, haven't got the van yet.
