 nowhat a weekend,, just finished and argument with one of my contractors as to wwhy they haven't paid my invoices yet,, now 60 days over due,,and I'm the bad guy !!!I did the work now i wat to be paid, I don't think that is to unreasonable,, to top this weekend off have to take my best mate to the vets for the big sleep,, he's just to old and sick to let go any longer.....15 year old sheppard cross, part of the family but it's time !cry

But on a brighter note the medeival fair is on again in gumeracha just out of Adelaide,, so I might "frock up " and go to that on sunday... sorry folks am home alone at the moment and just needed to vent...........evileye

Beachball....Saddened by your news of your best mate. He is going to a better place and will be taken good care of...I am sure you are doing the right thing for him...good luck ...

It's really sad but they let you know when they've had enough. 15 years is good for a Shepherd and it's the last kind thing we can do for them. I had to find a vet on Christmas Day for my mate.

My son just did the same thing last week, he'd had Max for 15 years also............he knew it was coming for awhile but is awful to hear a 40 yr old man sob his heart out though it will get better, just remember all the great years you had as best mates.

hi Beachball,I had to do the same with my border collie at 14, its tough... I still miss him 4 years on..
