Away again at last

After spending 7 weeks camped with our caravan on the front lawn of our friend's place in Gisborne while our cruiser was being repaired down in Thomastown, finally got the cruiser back this afternoon and are all packed up ready to head North first thing in the morning. smilesmilesmilesmile

First stop Shepparton and SPC to stock up on tins of fruit and a good supply of tea bags. Then up to a friend at Narromine, just west of Dubbo. Next on up to Winton and Longreach, across the top to Katherine, Darwin, Kakadu, The Kimberley including Gibb River and a visit to Halls Creek where Lorraine was stationed for three years with the Australian Inland Mission as a kindergarten teacher, the final year with a mobile kindergarten in the back of a land cruiser travelling to outlying stations. The plan is to then head South via Alice down to Melbourne to fly back home on 28th November (for a 3 or 4 month visit).

That's one of the best pieces of news we've heard for some time. Trust all goes well from here on in. I guess it's a bit of a learning curve for a short while until it all falls into place again. It's amazing what you get rusty on with a long break. I know we took a few days to get into the routine again once we were back on the road. Take care and enjoy the journey. Really could not let this go, " while I guess it's been a long time it has not been too long".  Sorry but could not resist.

Our best to you both

Brian & Cheryl

Yipeeeeee, and about time too I might say. Take care both of you and treat the tug gently, if you do all that you both just might get to see more of this great country. Sharon and I wish you all the best in your travels and you never know who might knock on your door one day.
