Now that we've actually started our half lap we find that we just love the convenience of the Fiamma F45S awning that we had fitted prior to departing from Hobart.
Even though we've only been on the road for a week we've come to the conclusion that the awning would be even more benefit if we had an end wall fitted both for privacy and comfort from breezes.
I have done some research on the web (God bless Google) but also value the opinions of members who may have already purchased and fitted an end wall.
As the Sprinter is in Sydney for the next two weeks would anyone care to recommend a supplier and perhaps also comment on the usefulness and ease of operation of an end wall.
Thanks muchly
Keith

Last year we purchased a shade cloth that slides into the track on the Fiamma Awning at the Jayco dealer in Coffs harbour, we also managed to purchase some velcro straps that wrap around the support poles.
Like yourself, we then wanted an end wall.
For this we contacted the canvas maker in Maroochydore and he tailored an end to suit, complete with attaching clamps to fit onto the Fiamma awning.
Sorry I have not any photos at this point in time, but it is worth doing.
As these (awnings) are fitted to a lot of campervans and motorhomes, you could give Frontline Campers a ring too they may know a local supplier, they are in Brookvale.
I have spoken to them in the past and they were really friendly and helpful, see;
We have the same issue as you and today, I bought some bits to make up our own end wall to keep out weather/sun etc. The plan is to use a tent pole with a 90degree spiggot on the end which hooks onto the camper, The other end with have a hole in it to put an upright pole into, which would stand alone (ie, not attached to the Fiamma legs). I have then bought a heavy duty tarp wich I will cut so it has the angle top on it, attach eyelets to it, then use black bungee cord to attach to pole.
If we get organised this weekend, I'll put up photos.
I looked into Fiamma end walls, but they require end bars on the awning and they end up really expensive. This is a cheap way of giving us the same result (hopefully!).

Hi my son recently took my sprinter away and he hooked a wall from one of his aluminium gazebos and it had velcro and he used occy straps also, as he had dogs to keep a bit sheltered. see pic..hope it helps.
Here are some photos of our prototype. Partner made a steel bracket with sits behind the latch on the Eagle and the pole with hook on the end sits in that. We just used a silver tarp and were going to cut an angle in the top but realised the angle will always vary depending on setup. The tarp now folds over the top and ties down with bungee cords. (we need to fine tune that a bit).
