The "base" lens on my Canon EOS 400D (showing its age a bit now ... sort of like me ) is 18-55mm.

I take photos - often more than one of a scene ... and some I crop to make the subject more 'interesting' ... and to get the 'panoramic' effect.

I sometimes take a series of photos and 'stitch' em ... but that often doesn't work as seamlessly as hoped ... more the photographer than the camera/software I'd imagine. no hmm
