Thought I would just drop in and say hello its been a little while but we have been busy at Dr's and specialist for the wife in Frankston, Melbourne. Although things are not the way we would like and the old girl is no that well we left Melbourne and headed for Mildura via Moama and while at mildura ran into friends we hadn't seen since Mendooran in NSW in October so it was great.
At the moment we are in a small town called Moorook in South Australia, right on the Murray River and absolutely beautiful Camps 7, # 127 Moorook Reserve and it does have a dump point. At the moment there is about 30 house boats moored near - by cruising as a club, very nice indeed. We may stay for a week or two then head for Port Augusta then on to Darwin, we had intentions of heading for W.A. but its not possible with the wife this time so we will head back to Vic through Qld, anyway we hope everyone is enjoying there travels and take care out there.
Moorook is great. We always seem to spend a few days there. Phil says the truck must like it as we also seem to detour to there regardless of where we are heading!!
stayed there in sept 2011 great place there is about 4 power sites there fee then was 12.00 a nite love the place and plenty to see near by safe travels cherylle
Welcome back from us too Frog53. The picture of so many houseboats in one place boggles the mind. They would certainly take up more space than the equivalent number of caravans. Enjoy your mini-vacation.
