deisel or gas caravan heaters

Hi all, I know there has been a lot of discussion about various types of heaters both gas or diesel, but I haven't seen any mention of the Snugger SF 2 diesel which run about $1000 supply only. Considerably cheaper than the 2 other main contenders.  Has anyone been there with these.  I am looking for something suitable for my 22 ft Heritage.   Any info would be much appreciated.

I have the Trumatic E2400 gas heater distributed by Dometic/Waeco. Demetions are 370x 248x 123mm.VERY ECONOMICAL GAS CONSUMPTION, dur to high efficincy level

( approx 95%) Minimum use of battery also.Very quiet when running .Have not had to use it here in QLD so far but when over in WA out back at night was in use a lot. I had the older version of this, and was happy with that ,but updated to this mod.

Jim,
re above, that a good price, but to me its best to have a heater that a number of us in Oz have already, so there are forum members that can offer advice, if any problems develop.

Peter.

The op was referring to the cost of the snugger sf2 diesel heater and requested info on their suitability. I proposed this type of heater as it comes from an Australian supplier in NSW (RV Warehouse) and was a dollar saving to be had, sorry if I have put foreword something you have not heard off.

We have a Webasto of which I installed my self and if someone requested a rectification of an operation problem other that the installation method I would have to refer them to a service point as I feel most others would as well.

I have previously read about the concerns of the Snugger as people were worried about service back up for them but as you have put forward there is a contact in for them in Australia.

We are happy with our Webasto as you appear to be with your Snugger.
