WIRRULLA C/ V Park sa

A beaut little c/v park to stay in is at Wirrulla about  60k from Streaky Bay on the Eyer Peninsula sa.

Small park with only 4 powered sites. Pick the keys up for showers over the road at the general store $5 per night or if not needing showers a donation box is there for use of power.A interesting little place due to one of the few places in the world that has a inland jetty.

I just saw the jetty on Google Earth, and WOW the water looks very inviting and dusty. luckily the boat has chocks under it cause it could get swamped in the next dust storm. Enjoy it all Herbie............ Sarg.

I used that town as a jumping off point to drive north to Kingoonya via the salt lakes many moons ago, then cut across to Glendambo on the Stuart Highway......

I think I may have stayed at the little caravan park there later on at one stage, did it have a funny toilet building ?????

Thanks Herbie,

We are leaving Mt Gambier in a few days so will put that on our "go to list"

So many places to see but have plenty of time.

Will be in SA for at least 6 weeks so if you find any other places will be interested.

herbie you should put this in the right section - either Free/Budget sites or under Recommendations - Caravan Parks - so we can find it at a later date. Sounds good.
