Thanks Chris and Ken and Robyn, and may you enjoy the forum ! As Alan says, no need to wait to be involved, that is the best way to get to know others here ! smile

Now Gary, you have been around long enough to know that is a question that could be debated ! wink biggrin

But thank you smile

Thank you for ths tip . I am a newbie and would, like to put up a photo or two of our RV - can you please tell me how to do it. Cheers.

Hi Rd Runa, assuming you have saved the pics to "my pics" in your documents etc, reduce them in size beforehand using open with paint or other programs, then save them to your pc pictures at that size.  I usually reduce mine to 30%.  If you don't want to lose the original size in your pc pictures, then make a copy there (right click on the pic and use "copy" then put your cursor alongside the other pic, right click and paste) and use the copy to reduce in size and save.  We are still in your pc pictures, haven't gone to GN yet.

Open a post on GN as though you are going to make a post, and write what you want to in the field as you have done here.  At the bottom of the field you will see "Attach File(s), put a tick in that and it opens an upload field below the post you are making.

Click on Browse on the first line and it will take you to the place on your pc where you have your pic's stored.   Highlight the one you want and click open, that will take the pic to the first line of our Browse Option.   Do the same on the next browse lines for each pic you wish to add.

When you have the ones on the browse lines you wish to post, then go to the bottom of the browse field and click on "Upload Files", the field will turn a grey colour and start uploading, when it has finished the field will become white again.

Then go to the far right of the upload field and you will see "Submit Post" .   Hopefully that should then put your post and pictures onto the forum......see how you go, if you get stuck don't be afraid to post again or pm me if you like.  Good Luck, Vic

For those new members who are not aware of it, to bring the new/latest posts to the top of the forum after you have logged on, click on "User Details" in the dark blue band near the top of the forum page, then click on "Settings" in the left menu, you can then adjust your settings to your requirements and then click "Change" at the bottom of the settings menu.

FYI and happy posting.  smile

(This has been posted before, but unless you have changed your settings would sink to the bottom of previous threads/posts etc and you would never see it).

No worries Grams and Pop, that is why I post it again now and then, otherwise the post gets buried over time and doesn't help anyone. smile

No worries Ken, I didn't find out about it for some time when I first joined until someone mentioned it.

Another thing, for those with a 5 second memory like mine and can't remember where or what they posted also go to User Details and click on My posts or My threads which will bring up your past posts and if you need to reply you can do so from there.....
